Our class used pastel to draw different kinds of flowers
inspired by Georgia O'Keefe's flower artworks.
Exploring Symmetry
Our class created amazing symmetrical designs with 2-D shapes.
Narrative Writing
Grade 1 is off to a good start writing their realistic fiction stories.
3-D Shape Inquiry
We started exploring 3-D shapes. They have names. They have faces, edges and vertices. Some of them can roll. There are 3-D shapes all around us!
Grade 1 Team Time
Grade 1 celebrated the end of the unit, Express Ourselves. The children shared some of their artworks and experiences inquiring into the unit.
