DIGITAL ART
Our class continues to explore digital art. Grade 1 has been learning to use technology to color and modify images using Pic Monkey.
BUDDY READING
We had a nice, relaxing afternoon reading with our class buddy.

GRADE 1 PICASSOS
We explored shapes, patterns and feelings through the lens of Art.
Grade 1 created self-portraits inspired by Picasso's work.
OUTDOOR SKETCHING
Our class wrapped up the week with an outdoor sketching activity.
What a relaxing afternoon!
PAPER SCULPTURE
Can you turn a 2-D shape into a 3-D shape?
That's exactly what our class did. Grade 1 created paper sculptures
from different pieces of colored cardboards and tissue paper.
Pretty amazing!
PROBLEM SOLVING
Grade 1 worked in small groups to brainstorm different strategies
to solve math problems.
